Interview FundsWatch.fr | Fibee: A business and financial intelligence application to complement our media offering

The SAND agency recently launched Fibee, a business and financial intelligence application designed to complement its existing media offering and reach a large, mobile audience.
Its creator, Antoine ROGER, introduces us to this new tool.

FW : Introduce us to Fibee

AR: Fibee is a business intelligence application that offers a daily selection of financial and economic news in several sections: articles, videos, charts and podcasts.

FW : The SAND agency usually creates websites for asset management professionals, so why did you embark on this adventure ?

AR : First of all, because this project enabled us, as an agency, to test the new solutions currently available on the application creation market.
Numerous tools have appeared over the last few years, making it possible to do things that could have been quite cumbersome and costly in the past.
It was a good way of taking the temperature and assessing our skills in this area.
Secondly, because mobile solutions are at the heart of our preoccupations due to changing behaviors.
And finally, because we wanted to try something new, to get out of our comfort zone.

FW : But why did you decide to create a monitoring application and not something else ?
A financial simulator, for example ?

AR : We thought long and hard about it, and in the end it seemed obvious.
We simply wanted to create an application that we would like to use on a daily basis.
An application that would enable us to find the content produced by players in the sector, be they asset management companies, CGPIs (Conseillers en Gestion de Patrimoine Indépendant, Editor’s note), specialized media or economists.
It’s also a good way of keeping up to date with our customers and partners.

FW : So how is Fibee different from existing media ?

AR: Simply because Fibee is not a media ! We don’t produce content, we select and direct app users to content produced by the media and various professionals.
We see our application as a complement to the existing media offering.
